Terms of service
Plain English, no surprises. The first eight clauses are printed on every invoice we send; the rest cover how the service itself works. Version 2026-09-03.
Billing terms (printed on every invoice)
What you are paying for
Once-off items on an invoice are charged once. The monthly package is a subscription that keeps your Sitebase account, your hosted website and the features listed under your package running.
First payment
Your first payment covers the once-off items plus your first month. Your account is set up and handed over as soon as it is paid.
Monthly renewals
From the following month your package renews on the same day each month. If you paid by card, each renewal is charged to that card automatically. If you pay by EFT, we email you a renewal invoice a few days before the renewal date; paying any renewal invoice by card switches you to automatic renewals. You receive an invoice by email for every renewal either way.
Price changes
Your monthly price stays as agreed. If we ever need to change it, we give you at least 30 days' notice by email before the new price applies.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time by emailing sales@site-base.app. Your account stays active until the end of the month you have paid for and no further renewals are charged. Once-off fees are not refunded once the work has been done.
Missed payments
If a renewal payment fails we retry it and let you know. An account with a renewal unpaid for more than 14 days may be paused until it is settled. Your data is kept while an account is paused.
Your website and your data
Your business information, customers and content are yours. Your website and Sitebase account are provided as a service for as long as your subscription is active.

Support is included with every package. Email sales@site-base.app and we will get back to you during business hours.
Using the service
The service
Sitebase provides a hosted website and business software (inbox, customer list, pipeline, bookings, quotes and invoices, reviews, and the AI features included in your package) for the business named on your invoice. We build and run it; you use it to run your customers.
Your account
You are responsible for the people you add to your account and for what they do in it. Keep your login details to yourself; we never ask for your password, and owners sign in with a code we email.
Acceptable use
Use the service for your own lawful business. Do not send unsolicited messages through it, upload content you do not have the right to use, or attempt to access another client's data. We may pause an account that does.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Paystack; we never see or store your card details. EFT payments are recorded against the invoice number you used as reference.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available at all times but cannot promise uninterrupted access. We improve the platform continuously; changes that remove something you pay for are announced in advance.
Liability
The service is provided as described on our site and your invoice. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
Privacy
How we handle personal information is set out in our privacy page. We process your customers' information only to provide the service to you.
